HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It's January. We're all freezing. So I'm posting a couple of videos from the Paramount Theater in Huntington, NY, the coldest (indoor) gig I ever played . It's common for a venue to blast the AC prior to showtime to prepare for a crowd full of warm bodies, but this was crazy.
During soundcheck the stage manager cautioned, “You're gonna wanna tune your guitars up again just before showtime. Trust me. This place has a reputation around the country as The Theater That Kills Guitar Players.”
